Egg has lots of benefits you may not know of, but in just a "few" we would explore those qualities that eggs possess,

1. Eggs help to improve performance

Eggs have a high satiety index, meaning they
make you feel full for longer. One large egg
supplies 6g of high quality protein and a large
variety of essential nutrients, with the exception
of vitamin C. This is why teaming up a fruit or
orange juice with an egg and whole-wheat/low GI
bread provides the perfect breakfast to perform
well in a challenging environment.

2. Eggs can help to iron out problems

Many people with mild iron deficiency experience
vague symptoms of tiredness, headaches and
irritability. Iron is the carrier of oxygen in the
blood and plays an important role in immunity,
energy metabolism and many other functions in
the body. The iron in egg yolk is in the form of
heme iron, the most readily absorbable and
usable form of iron in food and more absorbable
than the form of iron in most supplements.

3. Eggs improve nutrient adequacy of the diet

The nutrient density of eggs makes them a
valuable contributor to a nutritious diet. A study
among egg vs. non-egg consumers revealed that
the diets of the non-egg consumers were more
likely to fall short of vitamins A, E and B12. Eggs
contributed 10-20% of folate and 20-30% of
vitamins A, E and B12 among egg consumers.
This study demonstrates the important role one
food can play in ensuring nutrient adequacy.

4. Eggs do not increase blood cholesterol

In the 1990s, eggs received a lot of bad publicity
due to their cholesterol content of 210mg per egg
yolk. Numerous studies have clearly
demonstrated the lack of a relationship between
egg intake and coronary heart disease.
To put things into perspective, it is important to
realise that foods high in fat, especially saturated
and trans fatty acids have a far greater impact
on heart health than cholesterol in food. Eggs
should be recognised as an inexpensive, versatile
and easily digestible source of protein.

5. Eggs can help to promote weight loss

Eggs with toast have a 50% higher satiety index
than regular breakfast cereals. Several studies
have reported that starting the day with an egg
breakfast increases satiety in overweight people
and may help with weight loss.
In one study where a breakfast of bagels, cream
cheese and yoghurt were compared to a
breakfast of two eggs, toast and jam (same
amount of kilojoules), the latter group stayed
fuller for longer and reduced their kilojoule intake
at lunch by 29%.
At 315kJ per large egg, eggs actually add few
kilojoules for all the nutrients they provide. When
teamed up with whole grains (for example whole-
wheat bread) and fruit or vegetables they are a
complete meal, readily available, easy to prepare
and inexpensive, making them a useful tool in
weight-loss programmes.
6. Eggs help to promote brain health

Choline is a nutrient that facilitates brain

development in the foetus and newborn as well
as memory function even into old age. Eggs are
an excellent dietary source of choline, and one
egg per day will provide 28% of a pregnant
woman’s choline requirement.
Choline is of extreme importance during
pregnancy and lactation when the reserves can
be depleted. At the same time, it is the critical
period for foetal brain development and lifelong
memory enhancement. In experiments with rats,
memory function in the aged rat was in part
determined by what the mother ate. Mothers, the
message is clear – make a lifelong investment
and eat your eggs!

7. Eggs help to prevent cataracts and to protect
eye sight.

A good dietary intake of eggs, spinach and
broccoli is associated with a significant decrease
in cataracts (up to a 20% decrease) and age-
related lens and retinal degeneration, the leading
cause of blindness in the elderly (up to a 40%
decrease).
Eggs are a good source of the antioxidants lutein
and zeaxanthine, which play an important role in
keeping the eyes healthy. It accumulates in the
eye where these nutrients protect against some
types of harmful, high-energy wavelengths of
light. Getting enough lutein and zeaxanthine is
therefore very important from childhood onwards
throughout the life cycle.

8. Eggs provide the best quality protein

Protein is one of the most important elements of
our diet. Our bodies use protein to build new and
repair old tissue. Eggs are champions at
providing high quality protein. Amino acids are
the building blocks of protein. Nine of these
amino acids cannot be manufactured by the body
and must be derived from the diet. A complete
protein food contains enough of these nine
essential amino acids to promote growth and
maintain body tissue.
Egg, milk and meat (including poultry and fish)
proteins are all complete proteins, but egg protein
is of the highest quality, with a rating of 100.
Compared to eggs, milk is rated at 93 and fish
and beef at 75. One egg has approximately the
same protein content as 30g cooked meat, fish or
poultry. And apart from being the most versatile
and best source of protein in our diet, it is also
the least expensive.

9. Eggs can help to protect our bones

Eggs are one of the few natural food sources of
vitamin D, our sunshine vitamin. Vitamin D is
essential for calcium absorption and for
maintaining optimum bone health. Eggs therefore
play a supporting role in the prevention of
osteoporosis together with dairy products, our
main source of calcium.

10. Eggs promote healthy hair and nails

The hair and nails reflect many biochemical
imbalances and shortages in the body. Eggs can
help to promote healthy hair and nails because
of their high content of sulphur-containing amino
acids and the wide array of vitamins and
minerals.
Many people report faster growing hair after
adding eggs to their diet, especially if they were
previously deficient in foods containing zinc,
sulphur, vitamin B12 and vitamin A.

Should you be concerned if your poop has some greenish look?
Babies can have weird poop pretty regularly. Their
diet entails high nutrient breast milk or formula
that can entirely change the look, color and
consistency of fecal matter (as well as the smell).
It’s not uncommon in infants to experience yellow
mucus in stool following a bout with diarrhea from
switching to a new formula or green mucus in
stool during teething. But, when these things
happen in adults who are well beyond the age of
baby bottles and teething rings, it can be
alarming.
Bowel mucus is actually really useful stuff. It is
produced in the intestines and is helpful because
it allows for smooth and easy passage of poo. It
acts as a natural lubricant of sorts, easing along
fecal matter on its journey to evacuation. Most of
the time, bowel mucus isn’t visible (although it’s
always there). But, sometimes, it can be very
noticeable, and when it’s a color other than that
which mucus is expected to be, it can be
unnerving.
One of the most common causes for green mucus
in stool is a very common disorder of the
intestine known as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
. WebMD explains that IBS is essentially a
generalized condition of bowel disorder that has
varying symptoms that can range from mild to
severe and differ from person to person. While
mucus color can vary with IBS, shades of clear to
white to yellow and even green are not
uncommon. And, this has to do with the
condition’s effects on bowel movements.
Notorious for causing constipation , irritable bowel
syndrome can be a cause of mucus because the
backed up bowel movement can bring along with
it built up mucus when it finally passes.
In addition, just as struggling to produce poo can
cause man problems including green mucus in
stool, so can diarrhea. This condition,
characterized by much looser than normal stools
that can even be watery, can be a very common
cause of green mucus in stool. This largely
depends on what is causing the rapid loss of
fecal matter. But, if infection or bacteria is
involved, green mucus can result.
But aside from these relatively common causes
that can sometimes (although of course not
always) produce something other than just clear
mucus in stool , there are other health concerns
that can carry mucus that is green found on stool
as a symptom. For instance, gastroenteritis of
multiple kinds can be a common cause of light or
dark green mucus in stools, depending on sort,
particularly when the cause is bacterial in nature.
For instance, salmonella gastritis is described by
North Carolina State University as a condition
which can produce stools that are green and
loose and that smell off putting. And, they also
explain that green shreds of mucus can be found
sometimes in a condition known as shigella
gastroenteritis. Both of these are bacterial in
nature, but similar symptoms could be present in
viral forms of the condition.
Determining when green mucus in stool is
something to worry about will largely depend not
on this symptom alone, but the ones that exist
alongside it. For instance, if there are other
symptoms that are concerning such as a sudden
or very high fever, alarm bells should go off. And,
intense abdominal pain that isn’t related to
simply gastro ails like constipation or diarrhea
should also be considered warning signs.
Frequency and duration should also be gauged as
well. For instance, if green mucus in stool
appeared once and went away with no other
symptoms present, it could be nothing to worry
about. But, if it is frequent, recurring and doesn’t
resolve on its own in a short period of time, then
it may be a good idea to schedule an
appointment with a health care provider. It’s
possible that it could be a sign of a much more
serious condition such as cancer. If other
symptoms are present that can indicate severe
illness such as blood in the stools, health care
should be sought immediately.
The majority if the time however, green mucus is
stool is merely a result of common digestive woes
or mild illnesses. It can come on alongside a case
of the tummy flu or accompany a bad cold. In
some cases, it can simply be a byproduct of a
less than well functioning digestive system
plagued by constipation or diarrhea. But, if it’s
problematic, bothersome, persistent or part of a
collection of unusual symptoms it’s important to
seek medical advice.

Actually there should be no cause for alarm. Stool comes in a range of colors. All shades of
brown and even green are considered normal.
Only rarely does stool color indicate a potentially
serious intestinal condition.
Stool color is generally influenced by what you
eat as well as by the amount of bile — a yellow-
green fluid that digests fats — in your stool. As
bile pigments travel through your gastrointestinal
tract, they are chemically altered by enzymes —
changing the pigments from green to brown.
Consult your doctor if you're concerned about
your stool color. If your stool is bright red or
black — which may indicate the presence of blood
— seek prompt medical attention.
Stool color
What it may mean
Possible dietary causes
Green
Food may be moving through the large intestine
too quickly, such as due to diarrhea. As a result,
bile doesn't have time to break down completely.
Green leafy vegetables, green food coloring, such
as in flavored drink mixes or ice pops, iron
supplements.
Light-colored, white or clay-colored
A lack of bile in stool. This may indicate a bile
duct obstruction.
Certain medications, such as large doses of
bismuth subsalicylate (Kaopectate, Pepto-Bismol)
and other anti-diarrheal drugs.
Yellow, greasy, foul-smelling
Excess fat in the stool, such as due to a
malabsorption disorder, for example, celiac
disease.
Sometimes the protein gluten, such as in breads
and cereals. But see a doctor for evaluation.
Black
Bleeding in the upper gastrointestinal tract, such
as the stomach.
Iron supplements, bismuth subsalicylate
(Kaopectate, Pepto-Bismol), black licorice.
Bright red
Bleeding in the lower intestinal tract, such as the
large intestine or rectum, often from hemorrhoids.
Red food coloring, beets, cranberries, tomato juice
or soup, red gelatin or drink mixes.
It feels really bad when its very hard to turn you neck around just as you like.
Neck Pain can occur due to many reasons and we would explore most of those reasons in this topic.......

Neck pain can result from a variety of causes, including:

°°Muscle strains.

Overuse, such as too many
hours hunched over a steering wheel, often
triggers muscle strains. Even such minor
things as reading in bed or gritting your teeth
can strain neck muscles.

°°Worn joints.

Just like all the other joints in
your body, your neck joints tend to undergo
wear and tear with age, which can cause
osteoarthritis in your neck.

°°Nerve compression.

Herniated disks or bone
spurs in the vertebrae of your neck can take up
too much space and press on the nerves
branching out from the spinal cord.
Injuries. Rear-end auto collisions often result
in whiplash injuries, which occur when the
head is jerked backward and then forward,
stretching the soft tissues of the neck beyond
their limits.

°°Diseases.

Neck pain can sometimes be caused
by diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis,
meningitis or cancer.
Acne has been a disturbing skin problem a lot of people needs solution to, most times people apply different skin MEDs and Methods but still can't seem to get it right.

It sure goes beyond using all kinds of face gel or acne creams that you lay a hold on, its a more of the methods you apply.

Just as stretch marks are totally embarrassing! So also is acne too.
We have to deal with lots of funny and embarrassing looks from people who kind of look at us as if you are the worst people on earth.

So why can't my face be as smooth as that of this man above? Well you can surely achieve that in due time if you actually apply the right methods and long time treatment.

Blackheads and bumps, pimples and cysts are a
rite of passage of 90 percent of teenagers. But
studies show that up to 54 percent adults get
acne, too. The combination causes the production
of excess oil by sebaceous glands in your skin,
plus a buildup of dead skins cells. Together they
clog pores, creating a breeding ground for acne-
causing bacteria. Everything from genetics to
stress to hormones can initiate skin changes that
clog pores, ratchet up inflammation, can give
acne bacteria a cozy place to breed. Tiny dark
sports (blackheads) or small bumps (white
heads). If clogged pores become infected or
inflamed, they turned red; white pus inside may
be visible. Larger bumps may signal clogs and a
buildup of oil deep within pores. If these become
infected, they’re called cysts and can leaves
scars.
Experts have said for years that foods like
chocolate and French fries don’t cause acnes but
research suggests that diets generally high in
sugar and refined carbohydrates could play a role.
In a study of 43 young men with acne, those who
followed a low-glycemic diet – involving foods
that have a minimal impact on blood sugar levels
– had 23 percent fewer blemishes after 12 weeks.
Aim to get plenty of fruits and vegetables and
choose whole grain products when you eat foods
like rice and pasta. If you’re prone to acne, these
strategies can help prevents flare-ups, whether
you’re 14 or 44.
Open Your Pores With Products Containing
Salicylic Acid Resorcinol, Or Lactic Acid
These ingredients are also called alphahydroxy
acids and beta-hydroxy acids. Available in dozens
of drugstore gels and creams, they work by
preventing pores from clogging by breaking down
the thick, gunky mix of skin cells and excess oil
that starts the whole acne cycle. Some even act
as chemical peels to unblock pores that are
already clogged. In one State University of New
York study of 30 people with acne, salicylic acid
was better than benzoyl peroxide for reducing
pimples.
Stop Bacteria With Benzoyl Peroxide
This inexpensive drugstore remedy is a proven
bacteria stopper that fights acne’s top culprit, the
bacteria Propionibacterium acnes. Its advantage
over oral antibiotics and most antibiotic creams
and gels: It works even on P.acnes that are
resistant to the most widely used antibiotics for
acne, such as tetracycline and erythromycin.
Some experts estimate that bacteria are antibiotic
resistant in at least half of all case of acne.
In one British study of 649 people with acne, 60
percent of those who use benzoyl peroxide for 18
weeks saw significant reduction in blemishes,
while only 54 percent of volunteers who got the
oral antibiotics tetracycline or minocyline saw an
improvement.
Benzoyl peroxide comes in several strengths;
higher strengths are more likely to cause redness,
irritation, and even peeling. Start with a low dose
and move up until you’re happy with the results.
See A Dermatologist For A Retinoid Cream
Prescription-strength creams and washes
containing the vitamin A derivatives tretinoin
(Retin-A), tazarotene (Tazorac), or adapalene
(Differin) speed the shedding of death skin cells
so they can’t clog your pores. They may also
cool inflammation, easing redness and swelling.
When researches received studies involving 900
people with acne, they found that tretinoin
reduced the number of pimples by about 54
percent. In another study, tazarotene produced
similar results. Other research suggests that
retinoids may clear up 70 percent of blemishes.
Combined A Pore-opening Cream With An
Antibiotic Cream
It’s more effective than using an antibiotic cream
alone. Your doctor can prescribe a combination
cream that contains both an antibiotic and
benzoyl peroxide. Another good duo: benzoyl
peroxide plus an alpha- or beta hydroxy acid or
same types of retinoids. In one Pennsylvania
State University study 517 people severe acne, 53
percent who used both pf this creams saw the
number of blemishes cut in half 12 weeks,
compared to 35 percent of those who used
benzoyl peroxide or the retinoid adapalene alone.
Benzoyl peroxide can inactive tretinoin, so don’t
use the two together.
Lightly Therapy
It works by killing bacteria and possibly reducing
oil production. There are many types, including
and possibly reducing oil production. There are
many types, including combined blue-red light
therapy and pulsed-dye lasers. In one study, 85
percent of people who had four sessions of light
therapy over eight weeks saw acne improve by at
least 50 percent, and 20 percent of study
volunteers had a 90 percent improvement. Results
cab last up to three months in some people.
Low-dose Birth Control Pills
For women whose acnes persist after trying many
treatments, oral contraceptives could help. They
can clear up skin by changing the hormone
balance up in your body in a way that reduces the
production of oil. Research shows that the Pill
clean clear up 30 to 50 percent of infected,
inflamed blemishes. It’s recommended only for
women age 35 and younger who have healthy
blood pressure levels, don’t smoke, and don’t get
migraines.
Despite incredible improvements in health since
1950, there are still a number of challenges, which
should have been easy to solve. Consider the
following:
One billion people lack access to health care
systems.
36 million deaths each year are caused by
noncommunicable diseases, such as
cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes and
chronic lung diseases. This is almost two-
thirds of the estimated 56 million deaths each
year worldwide. (A quarter of these take place
before the age of 60.)
Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are the
number one group of conditions causing death
globally. An estimated 17.5 million people died
from CVDs in 2005, representing 30% of all
global deaths. Over 80% of CVD deaths occur
in low- and middle-income countries.
Over 7.5 million children under the age of 5 die
from malnutrition and mostly preventable
diseases, each year.
In 2008, some 6.7 million people died of
infectious diseases alone, far more than the
number killed in the natural or man-made
catastrophes that make headlines. (These are
the latest figures presented by the World
Health Organization.)
AIDS/HIV has spread rapidly. UNAIDS
estimates for 2008 that there are roughly:
33.4 million living with HIV
2.7 million new infections of HIV
2 million deaths from AIDS
Tuberculosis kills 1.7 million people each year,
with 9.4 million new cases a year.
1.6 million people still die from pneumococcal
diseases every year, making it the number one
vaccine-preventable cause of death worldwide.
More than half of the victims are children. (The
pneumococcus is a bacterium that causes
serious infections like meningitis, pneumonia
and sepsis. In developing countries, even half
of those children who receive medical
treatment will die. Every second surviving child
will have some kind of disability.)
Malaria causes some 225 million acute
illnesses and over 780,000 deaths, annually.
164,000 people, mostly children under 5, died
from measles in 2008 even though effective
immunization costs less than 1 US dollars and
has been available for more than 40 years.
These and other diseases kill more people each
year than conflict alone.

Mango is an extremely beautiful and sweet fruit with different species and it has loads of benefits, in as much as its beautiful picture can easily attract your attention to eating one or two, lets consider some of the benefits and side effects of Mango and and how we can manage our addiction to it.

Given the fact that obesity is one of the biggest
problems faced all over the world, it is easy to
see why so many people are interested in trying
to adjust their lifestyle as well as dietary
schedules for a healthier life. Mangoes are one of
the most popular fruits in the world and are
highly appreciated for their sweet and succulent
taste. However, they are much more than just a
tasty fruit. Mangoes are known to have a
significant number of health benefits because of
the high quantity of vitamins and minerals.
Moreover, the fruit is also rich in antioxidant
properties – thereby helping the body fight off any
free radicals that are capable of causing internal
damage.

Among the lesser known mango juice benefits is
the fact that, the fruit has anti cancer properties.
The fruit has phytochemical content which is said
to have chemopreventive properties. It thereby
helps reduce the development of cancer cells
within the body. Mangoes are also highly
regarded for their high iron content and are
regularly used in a number of home remedy for
anemia . Studies and tests have also shown that
the high iron content also contributes to the
reduction in muscle cramp, stress and heart
problem occurrences. A single cup of mango juice
is known to contribute as much as 42 percent of
the overall recommended amount of vitamin C for
the day. Some of the factors that vitamin C
contributes to are–collagen production, injury
healing, and management of the immune system
as well as repair of bones.
Stomach Problems :
Another very beneficial aspect of high mango
consumption is the fact that they are very good in
dealing with stomach problems. Suffering from
conditions like constipation is primarily because
of the lack of fiber rich foods in the regular diet.
However, mangoes are highly regarded for their
significant fiber content and play an important
role in helping the body cope with stomach
related problems. If you suffer from an
inflammatory bowel syndrome, on the other hand,
it is highly recommended that you avoid any
substantial mango consumption as it is only
likely to aggravate the condition. Experts will
recommend that you incorporate some amount of
mango consumption into a well planned and
nutritious diet in order to promote overall
wellness.
Pregnancy:
Mango is considered to have a rather beneficial
effect on the baby’s growth patterns. Mango juice
for pregnancy is a delightful option. The fact that
it has a low calorie count along with significant
resources of vitamin C, fiber and vitamin A, it
only serves to help increase the speed of the
child’s physical and mental development.
Moreover, the beta carotene content within the
fruit means that it significantly helps prevent the
development of heart disease in both the mother
as well as the child.
Nutrition From Mango Juice
Mangoes are considered to be an extremely good
food choice for dieters because it has a high fiber
content and a low calorie content. A mango
provides about 40% of the general daily fiber
requirement for the human body. This contributes
to more than just reducing the intensity of
heartburn and constipation, as it also serves to
reduce cholesterol counts, blood levels and is said
to reduce cancer development risk. The nutrients
contained in mango juice include significant
sources of vitamin A and vitamin C. Both of these
help to regulate the enzymes, as well as
metabolic processes. It thereby allows the body
to manage appetite much better. It is, however,
important to avoid consuming too much mango
juice as it will lead to a significant rise in blood
sugar over a period of time.
Side Effects Of Mango Juice
The only mango juice side effect is that if too
much of it is consumed over a long period of
time, the blood sugar levels within the body are
likely to shoot up considerably, giving rise to
serious medical conditions such as diabetes. The
pieces of fruit that have come from worm infested
mango plantations should not be consumed,
because they may cause harm to the body.
The previous topic on stretch marks was a bit scary right?
We didn't mean to scare you, but lets go a little bit deep into this tip to see if really there are remedies or treatments for stretch marks.

We all hate the way it makes our skin look so bad and we can't even raise clothe up anymore due to this shameful stuff, its so painful how we can no longer freely pull up and jump in a public pool or swim at the beach because stretch marks have gotten the better part of our skin.

As skin is stretched, the collagen is weakened and
its normal production cycle is interrupted and
damaged. This ultimately results in fine scars
under the top layer of the skin . Initially the marks
look pink or red, but over time a thin, silvery line
appears on the skin surface and a stretch mark is
born.
Stretch marks appear on the skin surface when
someone grows quickly, or puts on weight quickly.
Stretch marks can make you feel self-conscious
and uncomfortable about your appearance.
Fortunately, there are several natural ways to
reduce the appearance of stretch marks.

1. Castor Oil:
Castor oil, which is used in the treatment of a skin problems such as wrinkles, age
spots, moles, dark spots, fine lines and pimples,
can also be used to get rid of stretch marks.
1. Apply some castor oil to the stretch marks
and gently massage the area in circular
motions for 5 to 10 minutes.
2. Wrap the area with a thin, cotton cloth.
Using a hot water bottle or a heating pad,
apply some heat to the affected area for at
least a half an hour.
3. Repeat this process daily for a minimum of
one month to notice positive results.

2. Aloe Vera:
Aloe vera is effective in the treatment of many
skin problems. Its healing and soothing properties
can be used to get rid of stretch marks. There are
a couple of ways to apply it.
You can directly rub aloe vera gel on the
affected skin area, leave it on for 15 minutes
and then rinse the skin with lukewarm water.
Another option is to make a mixture with one-
fourth cup of aloe vera gel, oil from 10 vitamin
E capsules and oil from five vitamin A
capsules. Rub this mixture onto the skin until
fully absorbed. Repeat this process daily.

3. Egg Whites:
Eggs are a rich source of protein. For stretch
marks, you want to use only the egg whites ,
which contain amino acids and proteins.
1. Whip the whites of two eggs gently with a
fork. Clean the affected skin area with
water and then apply a thick layer of egg
whites with a makeup brush.
2. Allow the egg whites to dry completely and
then rinse the area with cold water.
3. Finally apply some olive oil on the skin to
keep it moisturized.
4. Repeat the process daily for at least two
weeks and watch for positive results.

4. Lemon Juice:
Another simple way to lessen stretch marks is to
use lemon juice. Lemon juice is naturally acidic
which helps heal and reduce stretch marks, acne,
and other scars.
Rub fresh lemon juice gently onto the stretch
marks using circular motions. Allow the lemon
juice to soak into your skin for at least 10
minutes before rinsing it off with warm water.
Another option is to mix equal quantities of
cucumber juice and lemon juice and apply the
mixture on the stretch marks.

5. Sugar
Natural white sugar is one of the best natural
remedies to get rid of stretch marks. You can use
the sugar to exfoliate your skin .
1. Mix a tablespoon of raw sugar with some
almond oil and a few drops of lemon juice.
Mix it well and apply it on the stretch marks
and other skin areas.
2. Gently rub the mixture on the skin for a few
minutes every day before taking a shower.
3. Do this for a month or so and watch your
stretch marks become lighter.

6. Potato Juice:
Potato juice contains vitamins and minerals that
foster growth and restoration of skin cells.
1. Cut a medium-sized potato into thick
slices.
2. Take one of the potato pieces and rub it
gently on the stretch marks for a few
minutes. Make sure the starch from the
potato covers the affected area.
3. Allow the potato juice to dry for some time
and then wash it off with lukewarm water.

7. Alfalfa:
Alfalfa leaves contain eight essential amino acids
which are good for overall health of the skin. They
are also rich in protein and vitamins E and K,
which help nourish the skin.
1. Mix some alfalfa power with a few drops of
chamomile oil to form a smooth paste.
2. Massage the paste into the affected area
two to three times a day.
3. Repeat this daily for a few weeks and you
will notice great improvement.

8. Cocoa Butter:
Cocoa butter is also very beneficial in treating
stretch marks. Being an excellent natural
moisturizer , it helps nourish your skin and reduce
the appearance of stretch marks.
You must apply cocoa butter over the affected
area at least two times a day for a few
months.
Another option is to make a mixture using half
a cup of cocoa butter, one tablespoon of wheat
germ oil, two teaspoons of grated beeswax
and one teaspoon each of apricot kernel oil
and vitamin E oil. Heat this mixture until the
beeswax melts. You can store the mixture in
an airtight container in the refrigerator and
apply it to your stretch marks two to three
times a day. This mixture will make your skin
more hydrated and smooth.

****Conclusion****

9. Olive Oil:
Olive oil contains a lot of nutrients and
antioxidants that help improve various skin
problems including stretch marks.
1. Massage slightly warm extra-virgin olive oil
into the affected skin area. This will
improve the blood circulation and reduce
the stretch marks to a great extent.
2. Leave it for half an hour so that the
vitamins A, D and E present in the oil are
absorbed by the skin.
You can also mix olive oil with vinegar and water
and use it as a night cream. This will keep your
skin stay moisturized and also exfoliate the skin.

10. Water:
Keeping your body well hydrated helps protect the
skin from many kinds of problems and also aids
in detoxification. It also helps keep the skin
supple and restores elasticity.
Try to drink one to two glasses of water several
times during a day. Experts say drinking 8 to 10
glasses of water per day is the best way to keep
the body hydrated.
It will also make your skin soft and help maintain
its elasticity. It is advisable to avoid coffee, tea or
soda though.
These natural remedies can help stretch marks
fade, but they may not completely remove them.
You can always see your doctor if you are greatly
concerned about the appearance of stretch marks
on your skin.

Stretch marks are totally embarrassing and is a common problem most individuals are currently struggling with this days, Is there a solution?

[ We would consider this Question in two topics] but lets talk about the kind of foods or Suppliments That Can Prevent It.

You may wish that there was a solution or cure
for stretch marks you already have, but the truth
is, outside of improving the appearance of them a
bit, once you have stretch marks they are
permanent. This means the best thing to do is to
prevent them in the first place! It’s true that
genetics and hormones play a role in whether or
not you get stretch marks (so does epigenetics),
but it’s also true that your lifestyle plays a
significant role in your skin health and stretch
mark development. Eating the way I recommend
here does not guarantee that you won’t get any
stretch marks, but it will improve the integrity and
elasticity of the dermis layer of your skin (where
stretch marks occur). In other words, you may
not end up with stretch-mark-free skin, but I’m
confident that the methods and foods I list here
are known to act in the body in ways that do not
promote stretch marks and can, in fact, prevent
them altogether.
People often get new stretch marks at times in
life when they gain a significant amount of weight
in a short period of time, or during adolescent
growth spurts. It’s best to improve the elasticity
and structure of your skin well in advanced of
your weight gain or growth spurt–more time
equals a higher chance that you’ll avoid stretch
marks!
Here’s what we know.
Stretch marks occur at the dermis layer of skin
(the middle layer), and they happen when the skin
is stretched further than it has the capacity for.
This causes tearing in the tissues, generally
purple or red in color at first, but they may fade
to white or a lighter color over time. It’s not just
stretching that causes stretch marks–it’s
stretching the dermis beyond what it can
withstand. The goal of eating specifically to
prevent stretch marks is to increase the level of
stretching the dermis can withstand.
3 Types of Foods that Prevent Stretch Marks
1. Gelatin – It is often said that the collagen
content in gelatin is directly related to skin
health. The truth is, consuming gelatin is a long-
term fix for skin elasticity. The collagen content
likely does help, but it’s more likely that the
larger preventive effect comes from the overall
nourishment and health effects of gelatin on the
skin. That said, gelatin is purported to improve
skin health overall. I believe it–it’s made of
amino acids, high in glycine, and supportive of
healthy cell metabolism. You can consume gelatin
in its powdered form (either the kind that “gels”
or the kind that dissolves and doesn’t “gel”), or
you can consume it in foods like homemade bone
broths (chicken feet are super high in gelatin–
throw them in your broth!). There’s no specific
amount you “should” eat to get the effects you
want, but gelatin is a very safe food and it has
many other benefits too. Consuming gelatin
everyday is perfectly healthy and reasonable.
Consider at least one tablespoon of the powder
per day or a couple servings of bone broth.
2. Foods high in antioxidants,vitamins C, A, and
E, specifically, are related to the nourishment,
healing, and health of the skin. These foods have
an anti-inflammatory effect and also reduce free
radicals in the body and skin, helping the skin
maintain it’s elasticity and firmness. Vitamin C is
specifically related to collagen formation, and
collagen health is directly related to skin
elasticity! My recommendation is to take note of
the foods high in Vitamin C , Vitamin A , and
Vitamin E, and then incorporate some of them
into your diet everyday. You can also safely
supplement with Vitamin C and E quite easily, and
Vitamin A in the form of fermented cod liver oil .
3. Coconut Oil, Butter, and Olive Oil – Foods
High in Saturated and Monounsaturated Fats
have been shown to improve skin elasticity,
probably because elastic fibers and collagen
require fat to be nourished and healthy. I
recommend using the highest quality sources of
these fats you can find. Consuming at least 3-4
Tablespoons of these fats per day can have
beneficial effects on your skin. Note: many people
will promote using coconut oil as a skin lotion,
and this is good for you, but putting oil on your
skin won’t prevent stretch marks because it does
not penetrate deeply enough to reach and nourish
the dermis. It does feel nice though!
Supplement:
Fish Oil – the omega-3 fatty acid content is not
only nourishing to the skin, but it also helps to
balance out the body’s omega-3 to omega-6
ratio. This leads to an anti-inflammatory effect in
the body, which is supportive of healthier and
more elastic skin. (The standard American diet is
highly inflammatory–full of white flour, sugar,
poor quality fats, etc.). Conceptually, you could
also consume fatty fish a couple times a week in
order to get the positive skin effect, but this
hasn’t been specifically studied.
Overall, you can do quite a bit to prevent stretch
marks. The keys are to be consistent with
incorporating the types of foods listed above, as
well as to reduce the amount of inflammatory
foods in your diet, and manage your stress.
Remember, these foods won’t cure stretch marks,
but they can help you prevent them! The best
part is that they are all highly nutritious and
healthy foods and should be part of your diet for
many reason.

°°°°°°°°°°°COMING UP LETS TALK ABOUT THE SOLUTION °°°°°°°°°IF THERE BE ANY AT ALL.

Often most people go through this condition just after eating a meal.
We Sometimes attribute the wrong meanings to it, most at times we take the wrong self medications, but lets quickly examine the possible causes of stomach pain after meals.

The stomach is an organ of the body that is
located at the upper left quadrant of your
abdomen. It is the organ that is responsible for
all digestion and plays an integral part in your
gastrointestinal system. When you suffer stomach
pain right after eating, it could be a sign that
there is something not right in your stomach.
Stomach pain can either be mild or severe, and
treatment of the pain should focus on the pain
etiology. You should never ignore severe pain in
your stomach because in severe cases emergency
treatment is needed.
Causes of Stomach Pain after Eating
1. Gastroenteritis/Stomach Flu
Condition Description: Gastroenteritis, also known
as stomach flu, can cause pain in the stomach
after eating. Your entire gastrointestinal tract gets
attacked by viruses which lead to diarrhea,
stomach pain, vomiting and nausea. These
symptoms can be felt as quickly as 4 hours after
you have ingested the food.
Treatments: To keep this virus at bay, always
wash your hands before handling any food. You
should also avoid contaminated food i.e. if you
suspect the food you are about to eat contains
virus that may infect your digestive tract.
2. Lactose Intolerance
Condition Description: Lactose is a type of sugar
that is mostly found in dairy products like milk. If
a person is lactose intolerant, she/he lacks the
enzyme called lactase. This enzyme is responsible
for sugar digestion. Therefore, if the person
ingests products that contain lactose like ice-
cream, it may result in bloating, severe pain in the
stomach and gas.
Treatments: If you are lactose intolerant, avoid
taking any products that contain lactose i.e. dairy
products. This should relieve you of the pain after
ingesting foods.
3. Stomach Ulcer
Condition Description: Ulcers are shallow
erosions in the soft lining of your intestines or
stomach. When your stomach has ulcers, there
are times eating becomes a problem. If the dinks
and foods you take are acidic, the acidity tends to
aggravate the ulcers causing stomach pain.
Treatments: To treat ulcers, you need to seek
medical advice first. Your doctor may prescribe
antibiotics which will heal the ulcers.
4. Celiac Disease
Condition Description: This is a reaction your
immune system has after eating gluten. Gluten is
a protein that is present in barley, rye, malt,
durum, bulgur, farina, graham flour, semolina and
wheat. If you suffer from celiac disease, each time
you consume gluten, your small intestines will
trigger an immune response. After some time, the
reaction will produce inflammation which
damages the lining of your small intestines, which
many lead to severe stomach pain and bloating.
Treatments: Have a diet that is gluten free.
Completely avoid all drinks and foods that contain
gluten and eat fresh meats, for u its uc potatoes,
vegetables, distilled liquors and wine. You can
also eat grains that do not contain gluten such
as rice, quinoa, tapioca, corn, cornmeal, arrowroot
and amaranth.
5. Food Poisoning
Condition Description: This is a result of drinking
and eating foods hat have infectious organisms
like toxins, bacteria, viruses and parasites.
Symptoms start about 2-4 hours after consuming
the beverage or food. There are some cases
where the symptoms can develop in two days.
Treatments: There is only one cure for food
poisoning; drinks lots of fluids and also get some
rest. The body works to get rid of all the
poisoned foods. Food poisoning mostly happens
when foods like meat have been undercooked.
6. Irritable Bowel Syndrome
Condition Description: The symptoms are
different for each person, and they mostly
resemble symptoms for other diseases. This is a
condition that affects your large intestines.
Symptoms of IBS include stomach pain, bloating,
flatulence, constipation, diarrhea and mucus seen
in stool.
Treatments: Since a definite cause for IBS is yet
to be known, its treatment revolves around
relieving the symptoms to enable you to lead a
normal life. Your health provider may prescribe
fiber supplements, anti-diarrheal OTC
medications, anti-cholinergic medications,
antibiotics and anti-depressants. As to home
remedies, you should always maintain a high-fiber
diet and at the same time practice routinely.
7. Gallstone
Condition Description: This is a condition that is
characterized by hardened digestive fluids
deposits which form in the bladder. The
gallbladder has a pear-shape and is located in
your abdomen's right-side, underneath your liver.
The gallbladder is the organ that holds bile and
releases it to the small intestines. Gallstones
cause pain in the abdomen and can appear as
stomach pain after eating
Treatments: Your doctor may recommend surgery
(cholecystectomy) to have the gallbladder
removed. There are also some medications
prescribed which dissolve the gallstones. You
should also eat diets rich in fiber and take some
vitamin supplements.
8. Eating Too Fast or Overeating
Condition Description: This is a condition where
you eat too much food or eat too fast. When you
eat too much food or/and to fast, your digestive
system is disturbed. As a result, the food is not
digested as it should be and you end up with
stomach pain.
Treatments: Curb overeating. Plan all your meals
and ensure that you have followed the planned
timings. Always keep a bottle of water near you
to keep hydrated all day. Also, do not drink water
soon after eating; wait and drink it after an hour.
You can take walks after eating to ease digestion.
9. Heartburn
Condition Description: This condition is
characterized by burning sensations inside your
chest behind the breastbone. The pain caused
often gets worse when you bend over or lie down.
It can also manifest as severe pain after eating.
Treatments: Antacids can be taken to neutralize
the stomach acid and some medications that
reduce production of acids. You should also
maintain healthy weight, avoid drinks and foods
known to trigger heartburn, eat meals in small
portions, elevate your bed-head and avoid
smoking.
10. Other Possible Causes
Abdominal pain can also cause stomach pain.
Other possible causes of stomach pain are
constipation, wind, appendicitis, urine infection,
Crohn's disease and periods. It is important that
you know the exact cause of the stomach pain in
order to administer the right treatment.
When to See a Doctor
See a doctor if the pain is severe such that sitting
still is difficult. If the pain comes with bloody
stool, vomiting, yellowish skin, severe tenderness
and persistent stool, you should consult your
doctor immediately.
Any stomach pain that comes after eating can
cause diarrhea. The main concern of diarrhea is
the risk of dehydration. If you feel dehydrated or
suspect you might be dehydrated, call your
physician. If dehydration goes untreated, it may
cause damage to your brain, which can lead to
death. Dehydration symptoms include dry mouth,
dizziness, dry skin and fatigue.
